On Thursday evening Lux Afrique had a star studded Launch Party at the very prestigious Rolex Watch Gallery in Knightsbridge, London. The event was to commemorate the beginning of a very special journey.
Lux Afrique’s devotion to collaborating closely with global Luxury brands to do business in Africa and elevating African Luxury globally. A unique platform with which brands can come to us exclusively to help them navigate their way into the continent, promote their brands to the African consumer, build brand awareness and establish themselves in the growing African Luxury Market.
The evening got off to a great start, the red carpet was rolled out for our special guests which included Dragon’s Den Duncan Bannatyne, Arsenal Ex-footballer Robert Pires, Presenter and footballers daughter Amal Fashanu. Also some of Africa’s Elite family names were represented on the night, from DJ Cuppy, Nigerian Music Producer and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, also Twins Ozumba and Oseloka Mbadiwe, grandsons of the late Nigerian political icon Ozumba Mbadiwe. All were treated with drinks and canapés all evening. We had photographers and videographers capturing the event, which included a very special traditional African drumming performance which everyone enjoyed.
The spectacular performance was then followed by several speeches including one from DM London Chairman David Coleridge and from our esteemed Founder Mr Alexander Amosu, in which he described the purpose and pioneering significance of Lux Afrique in the Luxury Market. A significance which is been recognised internationally.
The evening proceedings continued with one our sponsoring brands Hennessy, giving a special speech about our collaboration and inviting guests to a tasting of the prestigious cognac. Rolex staff, our hosts for the evening started to give away our goody bags which were very popular with our guests, needless to say everyone loves a freebie. The evening continued into the late hours with more drinking and celebrating plus of course Rolex shopping.
It was an excellent evening. Thank you to all our sponsors and friends who came out to celebrate and mark this occasion with us. We look forward to a continued and growing relationship with you all.
