Peaceful Owoghiri is a Nigerian fashion designer, based in Port Harcourt. During her London client visit and the promotion of her ready to wear range, Lux Afrique visited to explore the qualities that differentiated her brand from others. For example, her preference for majestic materials such as organza, damask, jacquard, silk and crepe.

Her vintage inspired designs are embroidered with rich colours and artistic mix of textured fabrics. From the patch works to the detailed cut of patterns, this combined with the unique colour collaborations, proves that she is an artisan whose work is her art. The REVAMP creation are a complex blend of colours and feel, a smooth interlace of different scenarios in one design, with skilful embellishments on a customised piece.
Peaceful Owoghiri designs are often commissioned; they are for the woman who prefers to exude her exquisite taste and richness like royalty. She explained that based on what the client wants, fabrics are sourced from specific countries for quality and authenticity. She travels to Malaysia, Turkey, India or Dubai to handpick the materials in order to ensure that quality is not compromised.
