On 7th December, Bulgari inaugurated on an island in Jumeirah Bay in Dubai, the new Bulgari Hotel Resort Dubai, the fifth property in the Bulgari hotel and resorts collection. After its first Bulgari Hotel in Milan (2004), Bulgari opened a Resort Hotel in Bali (2006) and another two hotels in London (2012) and in Beijing (September 2017).
Now, after 10 years, Bulgari chose Dubai, the Middle East’s most extravagant and luxurious city, to create its brand new Bulgari Hotel Resort Dubai.
“The path to opening a resort of this magnitude is always long. This is an awaited event. We are happy with how amazingly everything turned out. Visiting the exclusive resort on the island in the heart of the city will bring guests a unique experience. You are like on a private island and at the same time a few minutes from the most famous city attractions. We are very proud that we managed to get hold of this incredible place for our hotel location. Dubai is one of the most popular places in the world. We are very pleased to present such a unique solution to the market, which is full of impressive offers”, said Pep Lozano, CEO of Bulgari Resort and Residences Dubai.
Part of the complex Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai, the sumptuous Bulgari Hotel Resort Dubai is built with the participation of Meraas, the leading holding company of Dubai. Located on a magical island in the shape of a seahorse, the interiors were designed by the Milanese architect duo Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel.
“For Bulgari Hotels, this is an incredible opportunity to remark the inherent luxury and creativity of Italian design around the world, and now we proudly include in our collection a new ‘home’ in Dubai,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari.
Connected to Downtown Dubai via a 300m bridge, the Bulgari Hotel Resort Dubai shines in its striking, low-rise architecture. There are 101 rooms and suites set across just four floors which create an unparallel feeling of personal and understated luxury. Then there are the Bulgari Villas, 20 hotel villas set back from the beach, with private pools, roomy outdoor terraces and personal butler service.
Equipped with a spa, where real gold mosaic tiles, green onyx and Afyon marble decorate the cabana-lined swimming pool, with hammam and relaxation areas, a workshop gymnasium directed by trainer Lee Mullins, a beauty salon and seven treatment rooms, the hotel is a triumph of amenities.
But the “revolution” in terms of services is definitely the Yacht Club which provides a Marina build on the Resort beach. Here few yachts from 10 meters to than 50meters can stay and depart. In addition the wide range of services given include also a pool, a restaurant and car rental.
