This latest offering from the city of gold promises to curate the perfect culinary experience for foodies and bring it to their homes.
Bringing the flavours and theatrics of 5-star dining into your home. The chefs from YOUR TABLE all have many years of experience in the culinary industry and come from world-famous five-star restaurants. They have not only mastered all cooking techniques but also feel at home in any kitchen.
“While many South Africans are no strangers to having a private chef, YOUR TABLE takes this element to an entirely new level,” says Anthony Theodosiou, one of the founders of YOUR TABLE. “Our head chef Juleen Hattingh will design, curate and create a culinary experience for your home, which tells a story and evokes all senses.” The highly-trained wait staff then serves the results – from aromatic infused starters to theatrical desserts with the option of a wine pairing.
“The simple booking process is all part of the luxurious and sumptuous experience,” explains Michael Zahariev, co-founder of YOUR TABLE. “The host just has to inform our booking team about the nature of the event, any special culinary cravings and how many guests are expected, and we will take care of everything else.” Currently, YOUR TABLE can assist with bookings of eight to twenty guests.
As soon as the menu has been set, the host can sit back and focus on her guests. Meanwhile, the team from YOUR TABLE, which includes besides the chef and a maître de service also waitstaff and cleaners, takes care of everything else. YOUR TABLE will source only the highest quality ingredients and prepare the ‘mise en place’ before arriving at the customer’s home with everything needed such as cutlery and crockery, glassware, and napkins etc. On site, the real magic happens when the chef plates every dish to perfection before they make their way out to your table.
After the meal, while the host and guests sit back and reflect upon their experience, YOUR TABLE will clean and pack up – leaving the home as they found it, without a trace, and only the memories created.
