Rome, Piazza Navona.
Just in front of the famous Four Rivers Fountain and the majestic Sant’Agnese in Agone, a baroque church built in 1652 by Italian architects Carlo Rainaldi and Francesco Borromini, lies an ancient building at number 93. Built in 1440 by the Spanish Catholic church, the building is a true example of Italian architecture. Simple and linear in its shape, the building hides a secret behind its doors. Since 2015, on the first, second and fifth floors it has played host to the Lifestyle Suites Rome, a new exclusive hotel.
Born from the creativity of Mr. Alberto Garcia and his wife, the hotel comprises just nine suites that spread out from 40 square metres up to 80 square metres. Small but with that feeling of being at home, the hotel encapsulates the essence of Italian style and lifestyle.
Although it doesn’t have as many services as big hotels usually have, like a pool, a SPA or a fitness room, what is special about the Lifestyle Suites Rome is the feeling of the understated intimacy that emanates from the location, its rooms and its 10 members of staff.
From many of the suites, guests can enjoy the amazing view over the Piazza Navona, while some of the rooms also have romantic balconies so you can really soak up the atmosphere. Each of the suites also has its own emotional shower complete with chromotherapy, rainfall and waterfall settings and a Jacuzzi, guaranteeing a totally relaxing experience.
The main feature of the hotel is the interior of the suites. Designed by Ms. Giovanna Guarino, Garcia’s wife, who is an architect, all of the suites are characterised by their design, space and understated luxury. Each suite has its own name and guests are able to choose which one they would prefer to sleep in. Their names are: Tempesta, Cappuccino, Nuvola, Oggetti, Salotto 93, Carillon, Vanità, Fantasia and Rubino and the Presidential suite.
Each suite is individually designed to make an impact on its guests. For example, in the Nuvola King Suite there is a swing just in front of the bed, in the Oggetti Superior King Suite there is a large hammock and finally, the Vanità Suite is distinctive for its bright light and mirrors. Moreover, all the suites are equipped with Molton Brown complimentary toiletries.
On top of the building there is the rooftop where you can experience the view over the Eternal city. On summer mornings, breakfast is served here, but it’s also possible to book the rooftop for parties or weddings.
For breakfast (which is currently the only meal served at the hotel) there is a buffet and the possibility to choose some dishes from the menu. I’ve tried the poached eggs and the waffle with chocolate and they are really tasty!
The entire Lifestyle Suites Rome project is growing. In 2018, they will acquire the 3rd floor of the palace, and after they will also acquire the 4th floor. In the long term they want to make it a hotel with a maximum of 15 suites and with the acquisition of the other floors they hope to implement services such as a restaurant, a fitness room and maybe a spa.
To further enhance your stay, the hotel provides the guest with a 24h reception and concierge, who are happy to deal with any requests that a guest could have during his stay in Rome. This hotel is a little luxury secret which stands out for its individuality and discretion.

Thanks for this great post. The hotel has a cozy feel to it. Maybe, this is because of its small size and lovely decor.
