Bentley is proud to support The ACS Show, a new monthly online radio show hosted by Emmanuel Lawal and Ashton Gohil, in partnership with Mr Porter. Featuring a mix of music and chat, the show aims to introduce listeners to new and timeless sounds, as well as offering insightful conversations with successful pioneers, emerging talent and community leaders. Bentley is a big supporter of rising British talent across all creative industries and looks forward to collaborating with The ACS Show throughout the series.
The first guest to appear on The ACS Show was British actor Damson Idris, star of hit series Snowfall, Netflix’s Outside the Wire and Black Mirror. Idris was collected from his London home in a Bentley Flying Spur V8 and chauffeured to the Tea Building Studio to record the first episode of the show.
Hosts Emmanuel Lawal and Ashton Gohil quizzed Damson on a range of topics from his favourite music and personal style to his career highlights and lowlights, as well as mental and physical health. Alongside the exclusive interview, Lawal and Gohil cooked up eclectic music set for listeners to enjoy from their homes.
The ACS Show’s Artistic Director Tejumola Butler Adenuga worked with Soho House’s Tea Building Design Studio to create a unique and retro aesthetic within the recording space. Music played an essential part in the set-up, with a selection of Soho House’s most iconic records displayed on set. Carefully curated furniture had a mid-century modern crossed with a 90s feel.
Online designer retailer and sponsor Mr Porter recognise the stellar upcoming line-up of guests across the year’s programme of shows as some of fashion’s leading men. Idris, Lawal and Gohil sported Mr Porter’s sleekest new looks for the debut show recording, and the guests and hosts throughout the series will wear outfits available from Mr Porter.
Soho House is known for its eponymous members’ clubs across the world’s most prominent locations which aim to serve as platforms for creatives within the art and media industries. Soho House’s Tea Building Studio provided the perfect backdrop for the premiere of The ACS Show, and the hosts are excited to explore different Soho House locations over the course of the series, producing a new and exciting feel to each episode.
Bentley Motors plans to chauffeur the VIP guests throughout the series, providing a fleet of different models including the Continental GT and GT Convertible, the Bentayga and the Flying Spur.
