6 TARA FELA DUROTOYE – @taradurotoye
Mrs. Tara Fela-Durotoye is the Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of House of Tara International. She studied law at Lagos State University and is a trained and certified makeup artist of Charles Fox, Covent Garden, London.
She was the first to set up an international standard make up studio and then established Nigerians first make up school. She also launched the Tara Product line, a brand that promotes ethics and ethnicity, by empowering young women for economic independence without moral compromise, just as it flies the Nigerian flag badly.
She is a veteran in the beauty industry, who pioneered the bridal makeup profession in Nigeria. In 1993 She, founded Tara makeovers and in 1998 House of Tara Intl. was established (A premier beauty brand). In 2003 she opened the First Makeup School and in 2005 Tara Orekelewa Beauty Rep business initiative was introduced.
In 2007 she began Africa SMME and was awarded in South Africa, that same year she attended the ‘Be Inspired’ event on campus with 1500 students in attendance.
In 2008 was the 10th Anniversary, and ‘Be Inspired’ Fragrance launched,
2009 Tara created the Branch Network with the launch of Abuja, Ibadan and Ikeja branches and in 2010 she Launch of H.I.P range.
In 2013 came into Partnership with Maybelline New York and also in that year was, 100 Voices, Celebrating inspirational stories of enterprise and courage against all odds. 2014 Multi Brand & Distribution Channel Strategy developed and also the Launch of Centro Mall Studio in Lekki. Nancy Chinalurum Ogbonna best known as NancyBlaq is a Ghanian celebrity makeup artist, she had her first degree in Business Information Technology and came out with 1st Class honours from The University of Greenwich UK. Despite her academic success, her 1st love, and passion as always been makeup artistry.
Nancy is a self-taught makeup artist. In her words, “I saw makeup as a hobby and a way to express myself as I also love to paint and draw.

Joyce Jacobs is graduate of Communication Studies and Pharmaceutical Marketing from the University of Rhode Island USA, but her sound knowledge of the cosmetic industry coupled with an understanding of skin tones and ethnicity are attributes that have taken her across the globe from Lebanon to South Africa.
Joyce Jacob started her career in 2009 and has since become one of the most sought-out makeup artists in the Nigerian Fashion & Entertainment Industry.

Johannesburg-born make-up artist Lana G has become one of South Africa’s hottest makeup artist in the make-up field with a list of celebrity clients in the USA.
She is currently the makeup artist to American TV personality Anderson Cooper and have met and made-up everyone including the last four American Presidents.
