Equally renowned for their high end jewelry and exclusive timepieces, Swiss manufacturer Chopard has unveiled a line of watches that brings out the best from both worlds. While the new Haute Joaillerie collection named Precious Chopard consists of meticulously decorated watches as well as matching necklaces and jewelry for women, the line of luxurious and elegant wrist jewelry for men has three watches, named L.U.C GMT One, L.U.C Time Traveler One and L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru.
For gentleman adventurers and sharp dressers
The L.U.C Time Traveler One brings an innovation to Chopard, as it is the first L.U.C watch to feature a dual-time complication built into the movement. The watch speaks to gentlemen globetrotters in particular, and its defining complication is as beautiful as it is functional. The watch comes in either steel, 18 carat rose gold or platinum. The steel version has a black dial. On the other hand, the rose gold version offers a contrasting white dial with an elegant deep blue nighttime scale. The most expensive platinum version offers a sublime dark turquoise look. One more reason to love this watch is the new COSC chronometer-certified 01.05-L calibre decorated in Côtes de Genève.
The next watch in the collection is the L.U.C GMT One, and it’s another pioneering timepiece for Chopard, as it’s their first watch with GMT function. The caliber that powers the watch is a self-winding L.U.C 01.10-L with a power reserve of 60 hours. As well as the Time Traveler One, the L.U.C. GMT One is also chronometer-certified by the COSC. The watch is also available in two cases, one being steel and other being 18 carat rose gold. The steel version has a black dial with contrasting gray and yellow detailing. However, the 18k rose gold comes in complementary shades of cream and brown.

Finally, the L.U.C Heritage Gran Cru is the dressiest of the three. It features a tonneau shape sub-dial second-hand and a see-through caseback. Also, its classic look pays an homage to Chopard’s pocket watches. This elegant dress watch is powered by a richly decorated 3.3mm calibre 97.01-L, and it is also COSC certified. This self-winding mechanism has a 22 carat gold micro-rotor, and the case comes in 18 carat rose gold only. This watch also bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève seal reserved for watches that are entirely manufactured in the Genève canton.
The prices for these watches range from $9,690 for the stainless steel L.U.C. GMT One to $35,910 for the platinum L.U.C Time Traveler One. The L.U.C Heritage Gran Cru costs 22,300 CHF which equals to $23,475.
